- THE SCHIACCIANOCI: A retelling of the great classic followed by two pieces of classical music from Tchaikovsky's eponymous ballet. On Christmas Day, Marie and her brother Fritz receive various gifts, including an unusual soldier resembling a nutcracker. The little girl gets attached to it right away and protects him from the mischief of his brother Fritz. That night, transported to an enchanted world, Marie witnesses a clash between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King and discovers that a powerful spell holds her dear soldier imprisoned.
